Google News more Personalized for Signed-in Google Users

Google has added new features on Google News making it more personalized to logged-in Google users.

Google News will now be more personalized for signed-in users as it enables users to include stories based on their news-related web history. For an instance, if a user click on SEO Services articles a lot of times, Google will make sure that that user will see more breaking news about Search Engine Optimisation Services. Google said "We found in testing that more users clicked on more stories when we added this automatic personalization, sending more traffic to publishers."

Apart from this feature, Google has also added "Recommendation Sections" feature in its side column to let users suggest topics which they can add to their personalized news page as custom sections, according on news they've clicked on before.
